1. Controller and scope

Jonathan Arellano Lozano, an individual trading as PROTECH, controls the personal data collected on protechst.com and when handling your requests. Address: Calle Río Grijalva Mza. 4 Lte. 6, Col. This notice covers PROTECH’s website, enquiries, estimates, installations and portfolio. Chekar has its own notices. We do not request sensitive or biometric data for these activities.

2. Data we collect

• Contact: name, phone, email, company and messages you send through WhatsApp, email or available forms.
• Estimates and installations: service address, needs, site features, equipment, plans or photos you share, and tax details when requesting an invoice.
• Portfolio: project photos and descriptions; client names, logos or reviews only with permission. We retain the signer’s name, decision, date and technical evidence of that permission.
• Technical data needed to run and protect the site: IP address, browser, requests and security logs. These are separate from the statistics without personal identification described below.
• If the store and accounts become available: name, email, phone, a password protected by a cryptographic hash, orders and billing details. These features are currently disabled.

3. Primary purposes

We use necessary data to answer enquiries, prepare estimates, arrange visits, install equipment and provide maintenance. We also use it for support, invoicing, warranties, complaints, permission records and legal duties.

4. Secondary purposes and opting out

Optional purposes include promotions, news, launch updates and publishing approved projects, names, logos or reviews. We request portfolio permission separately. Asking for an estimate does not itself authorize these uses.

You can refuse at first contact or later without affecting service. Send “No marketing” or specify the use you refuse to [email protected] or WhatsApp +52 612 142 7287. You can withdraw publication permission through the same channels.

As a secondary purpose, Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, produces visit and performance statistics without cookies, local storage or personal identification. The site has no other analytics or advertising trackers. You can block its beacon using your browser’s content controls without affecting enquiries or service contracts.

5. Providers and data transfers

Providers help operate the service. Where they process data on PROTECH’s behalf, they act under instructions and security duties. Some operate outside Mexico. Their own privacy notices also apply where they process information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data. Disclosures to authorities are limited to legal duties and lawful requests. Before transfers requiring consent, we will identify the recipient and purpose and request your separate acceptance or refusal.

• Cloudflare: site delivery and protection; Cloudflare Web Analytics: statistics without personal identification.
• Google Workspace: email and documents used to handle enquiries, estimates and services.
• WhatsApp/Meta: messaging when you choose that channel; these services may process metadata under their own policies.
• Stripe: payment processing only when payments become available. The site has no active payments. Do not send card details in messages.

6. ARCO rights, withdrawal and limits on use

You can request access, correction, cancellation or objection (ARCO), withdraw consent or limit use and disclosure at [email protected]. Include your name, reply channel, request and the data concerned. For correction, explain the change and provide available supporting evidence.

We will verify your identity or authority using suitable documents, requesting only what is necessary through an agreed channel. Requests are free, except lawful reproduction or delivery costs, if any.

We will respond within 20 business days of receiving the request. If approved, we will act within the following 15 business days. Each period may be extended once for an equal period with justification and notice to you. The same periods apply to withdrawal and limits on use.

Withdrawal has no retroactive effect. Legal duties may prevent immediate deletion of some data. We will explain any refusal and its grounds.

If you believe your rights were not handled lawfully, you may contact the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, Mexico’s competent authority since March 2025.

7. Cookies and local storage

You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. This resets preferences and may stop sessions from working. These technologies are not used for advertising.

• protech-theme (localStorage): light or dark theme preference; remains in your browser until changed or deleted.
• protech-hide-season-decoration (localStorage): saves the value “1” when you choose “Hide decorations” to remember not to show seasonal decorations; remains in your browser until you delete that key or clear local storage.
• vista_temporada (HttpOnly cookie): remembers a seasonal preview for 2 hours, only after opening a link with that option. Removed with ?temporada=off or on expiry.
• protech_cart_v1 (localStorage): cart contents; the site may save an empty list even while the store is disabled. Remains until the cart or browser storage is cleared.
• protech_session (HttpOnly cookie): account session for up to 30 days, only if accounts are enabled and you sign in. Accounts are currently disabled.
• protech_admin (HttpOnly cookie): administration session for up to 12 hours, for authorized staff on internal hosts only.

8. Retention and security

We retain data as needed for enquiries, services and applicable tax, contract or legal duties. It is then blocked and deleted or de-identified as appropriate. Publications remain within the permission granted and are removed when that permission is withdrawn.

We use access controls, HTTPS connections and administrative and technical measures to protect information. If a breach significantly affects your rights, we will tell you what happened and what steps you can take.

9. Changes to this notice

Changes will appear at this address with an updated date. If a new purpose requires consent, we will request it before using your data for that purpose.
